John was named Drinks Business Man of the Year in 2021, and is the highest rated retail CEO on GlassDoor.

Alex joined Majestic in February 2020 to take responsibility for the Finance team, as well as the overall direction of our channel and trading offer.
He brings a wealth of experience in both public and private businesses - previous roles include Costa, Hamleys, Tesco and Oasis - and has played a pivotal role in the restructuring and continued success of the business following its acquisition by Fortress.
In his spare time, Alex enjoys walking (and sometimes running) with his dog, as well as spending time with his family.
Favourite drink: A good Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Commercial Director
Elizabeth joined Majestic in August 2024, taking on responsibility for Buying, Merchandising, Trading and
E-commerce. She brings a wealth of wine, retail and loyalty expertise, having spent 14 years at Sainsbury’s - five of which were in the role of Category Director for Beers, Wines and Spirits.
Immediately prior to Majestic, Elizabeth was Director of Operations at the Sainsbury’s-owned loyalty, insights and media services agency, Nectar360.
Outside of Majestic, Elizabeth is a keen cook and winds down by spending time with her family and two dogs, taking long walks, running and doing pilates.

John has held executive roles in Supply Chain, IT, Data and Digital, having worked in many complex retailers including Woolworths South Africa and Harrods.
He is a senior advisor to the consultancy firm OC&C, and holds both an MBA and a WSET Diploma.
John joined Majestic initially as IT Transformation Lead in April 2023, tasked with reviewing our system deployment processes and transformation plans. He joined the Board in October 2023, and took on additional responsibility for Supply Chain, IT and Transformation.

People Director
Jacqui joined Majestic in Spring 2021 and oversees our HR function - an important role in a business known for the quality and engagement of its people.
She brings extensive experience from across the drinks, retail and hospitality sectors, including at Moet Hennessy, De Beers, Hobbs and Prezzo.
Jacqui's key focus is to continue Majestic's reputation as a people-focused business: "Lots of businesses will tell you people are their biggest asset, but in Majestic, it's absolutely true. We never take that for granted - and we're committed to giving our colleagues the support, recognition and working environment that will allow them to do their best work."
Favourite drink: Pinot Noir, or a crisp Pouilly Fumé.
Store Operations Director
With more than 20 years in Majestic, Keith is one of our longest serving staff members - and the ideal person to oversee the day-to-day delivery of our customer experience through over 200 stores.
Keith started as a Trainee Manager in our Weybridge branch in 2002 and worked in a variety of roles before becoming Retail Director in 2021.
"There is something genuinely unique and special about Majestic," he says. "We have a responsibility to keep it that way - by creating a consistently great experience for all our customers and colleagues every day."
Favourite drink Something red and big (Spanish or Italian).
Supply Chain Director
Sue's job is to make sure the right wines are in the right place at the right price when people want to buy them - no mean feat during the many challenges posed by Covid and Brexit!
Sue has over 25 year supply chain experience, and joined Majestic in 2017, having previously worked at Travis Perkins, Wickes and Sainsburys. She manages our end-to-end logistics: bringing in products from suppliers and distributing them to stores and customers through our Hemel Hempstead Depot, third party couriers and Majestic's own fleet of HGVs and store vans.
Sue's team has won plaudits across the industry for Majestic's consistently high levels of availability and best-in-class delivery.
Favourite drink: Provence rosé.
IT Director
Nick is another Majestic veteran with more than 25 years experience giving him an unrivalled understanding of our stores, our teams and the systems that make them work.
Nick started his Majestic career in stores and helped to set up the Commercial operation before taking on his current role as IT Director in 2019. His team has been responsible for streamlining and transforming Majestic's back office systems - improving the experience in stores as well as launching a new e-commerce site in 2020.
Nick says his key focus is to "keep the lights green - and make sure we have the structure in place to grow as a truly integrated omni-channel business".
Favourite drink: An ice cold beer - or whatever my local Majestic team recommends!
