Majestic's strategy for driving profitable growth is simple, but highly effective.
We focus on what we're good at: helping our customers discover wines,
beers and spirits that they love.
There are three keys to that: the right product, the right people
and the right experience.
Right product
For over 40 years, Majestic has helped to lead and shape the drinking habits of the nation.
We stock more than 1,300 individual products - and we're constantly updating our range to make sure it's the best in the business.
We're hugely proud of our award-winning buying team - which includes two Masters of Wine - and the relationships they've built with growers and suppliers across the globe.
Majestic's unique combination of scale and local expertise means we can help those growers reach a more discerning UK audience - and, at the same time, introduce our customers to wines they might never otherwise discover.

Right people
As the saying goes, 'you can teach skills - you can't teach attitude.'
Majestic's success is built on hiring great people and then investing the time and training to help them develop a real passion and expertise in the products we sell. All our store colleagues have access to WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) courses - with many successfully completing the demanding Stage 3 module.
We're also committed to making Majestic a great place for colleagues in every part of our business to work.
We're proud of our industry-leading Glassdoor rating and employee engagement results - and the fact we have so many long-term employees.

Right experience
Shopping with Majestic is a lot more than a transaction.
We want to take our customers on a voyage of discovery into a whole world of delicious wines, beers and spirits - and, above all, we want them to enjoy the ride!
In every store, we've got a tasting counter where customers can try new wines.
We've got expert colleagues, who can help you navigate different grape varieties, countries and experiences - and do it all in a warm, informal way that makes everyone feel at home.
We've got a range of support services, from free glass hire to tasting masterclasses.
And, with more than 200 stores across the country, we can provide a flexible omni-channel fulfilment service for our on-trade and eCommerce customers, too.
